Cursor domesticus
A small, fast, two-dimensional screen mammal. No natural defences.
Travels in straight lines because it believes nothing is watching it.
- Tipthe hotspot. One pixel wide. The whole animal, really.
- Taildrags behind. Gives away direction three frames early.
- Shadowvestigial. Purely decorative. Delicious.
How it started
It began with one trembling cursor hiding in the bottom-right corner of a monitor.
PAWNTER did not understand software, menus, or market cycles. It understood
movement.
The cursor ran across the screen. The Siamese locked on, launched forward, and claimed it
with one espresso-coloured paw. Since then, every pointer has been living on borrowed pixels.
“The pointer moved one pixel. The paw took that personally.”
